This is a mexican specialty and staple. Although it’s simple to make, make sure you buy good quality dried meat.
The basic machacado con huevo is made with eggs and dried beef. Chopped tomatoes, onions and jalapeños or serrano chili pepperscan be added, or salsa can be cooked into it, to create another version.
Ingredients: eggs (2), machaca (50 grams), oil, salt.
Instructions: in a small bowl, beat the eggs. Add the dried meat.
Heat some oil in a pan, and add the egg and meat mixture. Cook until desired consistency is achieved.
