Milk (3 cups), egg yolks (5), corn flour (3 tsp), granulated sugar (3/4 cup), salt (pinch), vanilla extract (1 tsp).
Stir the milk (1 cup) and corn flour until incorporated. Beat the egg yolks, add to the milk and corn flour mixture.
In a saucepan mix the sugar and salt in the remaining milk (2 cups). Bring to a boil and strain the egg yolks, milk and corn flour mixture, stirring until it starts to boil again. Simmer for 2-5 min until thick (keep stirring).
Leave to cool and add the vanilla extract.
Serve sprinkled with cinnamon.
