This is a very typical mexican drink. It’s simple and delicious, you’ll be glad you tried it!
Ingredients: water (4L), cinnamon sticks (8), brown sugar (140g), ground coffee (2 cups, about 160g)
Instructions: In a big pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the cinnamon and the brown sugar and let boil 20 minutes. Add the coffee, stirring until it starts to boil again, then remove from heat. Cover and let stand 5 minutes to bring out the flavour.
Strain and serve.
You can drink this with sweet breads or tamales. Provecho!
